2018 Was A Productive Year For The Camp $cholarship Fund!

All year we are busy working hand in hand, with kids doing chessed in a fun way; and as a result, their peers are able to go to camp!

The year began with a Tehilim-A-Thon during September 13- October 18th with the girls from Shulamith.

Mrs.Billet and Dr.Gross Principals at Shulamith: "The Tehillim-A-Thon gave the girls the opportunity to say chapters of  Tehillim and gain sponsors for The Camp $cholarship Fund. They earned slurpees for their dedication to the cause! Both events were super organized and well- run. It was a privilege to be involved with this excellent cause. “

Feb. 20, we brought the Tehilim-A-Thon to the 6-8th graders of T.A.G.

Feb 21-22nd,  T.A.G. Bake Sale with the High School Girls.

Mrs. Briendy Judowitz T.A.G. H.S. Teacher: It is wonderful to see how my

students were so excited to run for such a special cause. They loved

the idea of giving back to the community in a fun, meaningful way.

March 1, Purim, we had two group of boys collecting from M.A.Y. and Darchai.

Alisa & Meir Krengel(Town of Cedarhurst Trustee) and parents of: Moishe-in Rabbi Groner's Yeshiva, who was head of the logistics for one of the Color Runs ; Chaim- a student at M.A.Y who volunteered over Purim with his friends to fund-raise; Ahuva-3rd  grader in Shulamith  who participated in the Tehilm-A-Thon. "Our children have gotten to know the President, Shmaryahu, through these many different chessed  projects. Each time they walk away in awe on how warm and involved he is behind and in front of the scene."

March 6, Motivational Speech for Girls.

Morah Devorkas from Bais Yaakov Machon Ora of Passaic:

"I have had the pleasure of hearing Channa Shira, the executive director of TCSF, speak and motivate our students to do chessed in an inspiring way. She takes the time out of her busy schedule to come to our school yearly. When watching her explain the importance of running an organization, one can see that doing for others is second nature to her!"

March 18, Color Run for ALL girls... A 5k culmination of over 250 girls from the five boroughs and the

Five Towns.

Hindy Geizensky, 11th grade student at Bais Rivka in Crown Heights said, “Getting involved with TCSF this past March at the Color Run, was a day like no other!  The music, t-shirt packets, color dust, professional pictures taken in the Red BMW convertible and delicious refreshments ensured that a good time was had by all 250 participants.  I learned that “getting involved” can be a fun and inspiring experience!”
